Starting off working hands-on with both prospective police K9s and pet dogs, Elora got to see the best of both worlds. She decided to further her knowledge and experience by attending Georgian College for Canine Behaviour as well as frequenting various workshops and seminars. 

Whether they focus on protection sports, relationship building, decoy skills, dog obedience or puppy foundations, she firmly believes that learning never ends and is constantly striving to take in new information from various venues that will transfer directly to every dog she encounters.

Elora was a member of SOAR Ringsport with her Dutch Shepherd Rawly, both as a handler and training decoy before moving to Petawawa.  She understands how to work with high drive, high energy dogs and strives to maintain enthusiasm while achieving control.

Navi K9 believes that the connection between human and canine is of utmost importance. Trust, clarity, consistency and structure is paramount in building a bond that is unbreakable.

Helping people achieve the best possible relationship with their dogs whether young, old, fearful, reactive or aggressive is a top priority.  As no two dogs are the same,  Elora is well versed in the humane use of all training tools and works with each dog as an individual.

Since Navi K9’s inception in 2019, Elora has successfully helped over 250 dogs and their owners achieve their goals and navigate their day to day lives.  Helping people realize their dogs full potential is something she’s extremely passionate about.
